Does it always snow in the UK?

The short answer to this…. No! In fact, in many parts of the country it has not snowed for a long time. Over recent years, with the global climate change, the weather in the UK has become much milder. The last summer for example saw record high temperatures… reaching 40 centigrade. Temperatures in winter are close to zero centigrade, but mostly well above. The weather does however vary from region to region, especially during winter. Some regions are mild, others wet and whilst others cold (with some snow). The other good news is houses, flats and buildings have been made with the weather in mind… it may be cold outside, but inside is normally nice and warm.
